Jimbeam, i can relate to your story, as i'm sure many other posters on this board can. I still dig the hat, it's great to be a tennessee vol!!

Oh yeah, my deployment days are over. I was diagnosed as Type 1 diabetic in Nov. I'm battling that and waiting on the AF to decide if I can stay and serve. Outlook not good.

Thanks for asking, I didn't whant to start a thread just yet, I will once I get my AF medical board findings.

I was just saying your UT hat must've been good for ya. Anyway, all of us in here are rooting our ass off for you. You're one of us and we all love you and are on your team... I'm hoisting a brew in your honor as I type.

Word.....hope it's a Guinness LOL:)

I will be sure to let the VN what the AF thinks of me when I find out.

Remys deserves all the credit. He sent me goodies and some basketball games while I was deployed. I put them on a loop and played them over and over. Great guy, he made my time go by.

I remember watching the UT-Memphis game, it was like 0430 in the orning, I almost threwup during those FT's. Good time...great times. Tyler might not know how much I was screaming and praying he would hit those FT's, but I was.

GO VOLS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

i am out of town right now and always make it a point to wear vols gear when i am out and about around the country. last night i was walking around in anaheim, california and a homeless guy was walking through the parking lot where i was. he gave a huge fist pump and said "yeah, go vols." Those are the things that pump me up and i thought i would just share that. i just thought it was pretty cool that no matter where you are people still know the power T.

I should have stayed in better touch and sent more than one package. :banghead2: Being a busy college student at the time made it hard to prioritize.

Glad it still meant something to you Brother. :salute:
