ATHENS, Ga. — Tren de Aragua gang member Jose Ibarra was sentenced to life without parole Wednesday for the vicious murder of promising nursing student Laken Riley in a case that ignited a national firestorm over the Biden administration’s open border policy and coddling of illegal immigrants.

The sentencing was meted out a little more than two hours after Judge Patrick Haggard announced the guilty verdict on all charges on the fourth day of the Athens, Georgia, murder trial, in which 29 witnesses were called by the prosecution.

The illegal migrant was described as a “sick, twisted, and evil coward” in series of heartbreaking victim impact statements from Riley’s loved ones before the sentencing. He reacted to the harsh words with cold detachment as a translator whispered them into his ear.

Beloved pastor 'Killed by Illegal Migrant driving without a license' in Detroit​


A beloved pastor was brutally killed while on his morning walk after being struck by a driver allegedly in the country illegally.

From the article, he was deported and illegally reentered. I'm not sure how that's on Trump.

An illegal alien accused of causing the crash that killed 12-year-old Travis Wolfe in Hazelwood, Missouri, last year is now out of jail without paying any bail.


Endrina Bracho, an illegal alien from Venezuela, was charged in March with one count of first-degree involuntary manslaughter, two counts of second-degree assault, two counts of child endangerment, and one count of driving without a license after allegedly causing a December 2023 crash that left Wolfe dead and his parents, Timothy and Stephanie Wolfe, injured.

A year after the crash, Bracho is out of jail without paying bail thanks to a decision from Judge Bruce Hilton. Bracho’s lawyer told local media that part of Hilton’s decision centered on allowing the accused to spend time with her family during the Christmas holiday.

“What about my family? We don’t get to go see Travis,” Wolfe’s sister Taylor told FOX2 Now. “He doesn’t get to come home and see us. She took that from us.”

In April, Hawley revealed that Bracho arrived at the United States-Mexico border sometime in 2023 and was released into the U.S. interior by the Department of Homeland Security (DHS).

Officials Weighing Anthropological Facial Reconstruction To ID Woman Burned In NYC Subway Attack: sources​


Authorities are still working to identify the woman who was scorched beyond recognition on a subway train earlier this week — and are already considering using anthropological facial reconstruction to solve the case, sources told The Post.

The process of recreating the face is one of the few options available for investigators, who have been trying to use DNA analysis in the five days since the horrifying murder.

Investigators have been using DNA analysis to try and identify the woman who was Burned Alive on the subway earlier this week.

The victim’s burns are “catastrophic” and seared through all layers of her skin and tissues with “potentially deeper structures of the body” caused by inhalation of super heated gases which would cause thermal burns to the respiratory tract, the law enforcement sources said.
