Still need to beat Vanderbilt

👆 this all day long.
If the Tennessee coaching staff is worth a dime of their salary, they will be scheming Vanderbilt the next 2 weeks, correcting what they need to correct and understanding that this will be a huge game. Commodes have to go to LSU next week, which will be a tall order. Hopefully they’ll get beat up and the Vols will finish the job as they do 99% of the time.

Lol. Ga Tech ain't beating UGA.

I'm not so sure we we beat Vandy after seeing our defense get gashed the way they have in the run game against MSu And then UGA throwing it all over the field on us.

Ideally, Vandy beats LSU, Florida beats Ole Miss, and Tennessee beats Vandy.

Won't be easy. Defense is weak in the middle and Vandy uses their Te's a lot. Combine that with playing like cream puffs on the road and our awesome passing game. Be a nail biter at the very least.

I expect us to go in there and beat Vandy to a pulp. If we don’t, some assistant coaches’ heads need to roll this offseason. The football program has seen massive improvement in the Heupel era but some parts of the team are outperforming others in a big way.

Absolutely do not underestimate Vandy. if you have watched them at all you know their ability to control clock and make clutch plays. Terrific play calling also by coaches. Vol defense has slipped dramatically and the offense has to hit on all cylinders to win in Nashville. LSU could indeed cause some injuries and affect the Dores‘ depth. I agree Banks needs to get his plan ready ASAP to deal with Pavia. We really miss Pili at LB.

Is Vandy still pretty much a home game for us or do their fans show up and it’s like a neutral field game? Haven’t been to that tiny stadium in a long time.

I agree. Someone will pull off an upset that'll open up a playoff spot. We need to worry about doing our job and beating Vandy.

This. These are absolute overreactions to Georgia lighting Tennessee up in the air. The defense just now allowed more than 19 points for the first time this year and it took 10 games in. The lack of pressure sucked yesterday, but the body of work has been great.

No doubt while every is freaking out we have to focus and go out and prove we belong. Vandy at Vandy we are going to get their best, we have to be ready to play and take care of business. If we win out our chances are better than 50-50 we make it. GBO
