Lots of good things happened for us for a change. A&M, Clemson, Iowa State, Kansas State, and Pitt all go down. Those are teams we needed to lose. If I had to guess what the top 12 of the CFP will look like it would be something like this. A lot of the teams are interchangeable right now and a lot will be sorted out over the next couple of weeks so the first week of rankings is meaningless until the picture is more clear. Also, I don’t think the rankings will take into account the automatic byes. They are just going to be listing the top teams in their eyes. As you can see, seeding is going to be extremely affected by this automatic byes nonsense. There are at least 6 teams more deserving of a bye over BYU or Big 12 champ but that’s the system we have unfortunately…

2 Georgia (bye)
3 Ohio State
4 Miami (bye)
5 Texas
6 Tennessee
7 Indiana
8 Penn State
9 Notre Dame
10 BYU (bye)
11 Alabama
12 Boise State

Came to the dark side and included ND…lol
List looks very solid to me…I bet they rank one of those Big Ten schools over us and we start at 7. I don’t think Alabama will be included but starting to get dicey at 11 already which is why I like our chances even if we finish 10-2!

They are ranking what they think it will be at end of year…we are 6 or 7 currently for sure…I don’t see us at any lower than the 8-9 game when it’s all said and done, even if we take another loss.

Well a lot of good happened in Notre Dame’s favor today. A&M, Clemson, and Iowa State all lost so that slides them into the field imo.

Yeah think I said last week they were getting in regardless as long as they didn’t take another loss. Is there room for them now if they do lose another…highly doubtful…but I wouldn’t close the door on it either. Some wacky things could happen and any 10-2 team may look good in another 4 weeks.
