Man, we're in a sad state here in the US. "Three-toothed yokels"? It's just not productive. You had a valid, data-driven point, leave it at that. It's perfectly fine to dislike a candidate, hell, it's OK to hate him profusely, but to then disparage anyone that does creates nothing but more hate. Now, you can come up with your arguments about why "the hate is justified" because "Trump did this or someone else did that" -- but is it really? We'd be a lot better off being able to say: I understand your stance, but I just disagree with you and here's why. When did agreeing to disagree make the other side idiots, or evil? We have to know that's the extreme and not the majority. This goes for both sides. Quit blaming everyone else: "Sheeple", "LameStream Media", "Trump is a Nazi" -- this sh*t is out of control.
I don't know man --we're all to blame -- we're to blame because we are conditioned to love the drama and that's exactly what the news and media feed to us (on both sides) -- we feed the ratings because we want confirmation bias at all costs. I won't for one second claim I haven't done the things I'm railing against, I get frustrated like anyone else, but every once in a while I have a lucid moment of clarity.
