Where are you getting this? I'm not in favor of increased taxes period. End of sentence. Lower tax rates, lower taxes, taking away power from politicians by stripping them of their ability to pick winners and losers - that is what i support.

Why is everyone being so dickish today? Your wants of eliminating all that stuff is not even being espoused by any candidate. My want is being espoused by a candidate. That's why I'm talking about it. You entered the chat. I'm trying to find out how and why you think and come to some sort of understanding and it's like everybody is so concerned about the gotcha we can't even have a dialogue anymore.

McDad, we usually get along just fine. However, I don't know how you can say I'm being "dickish" when you're asking me if I favor higher taxes during inflationary periods (which would be assinine BTW), when I've clearly stated multiple times that I'm for lower income taxes across the board.

I close on 1/3 from an irrevocable trust Nov 1. I wanted to buy all 3 but he wasn't ready for that. I have 1st right of refusal on the other 2.

Child tax credits and EITC are discriminatory. Tax rates (or not taxing certain) on different types of income are not discriminatory.

So, I'll try to reset the question.

I agree that increased money supply and/or velocity is inflationary. Increased net income increases supply and velocity. Certainly a risk when inflation is accelerated. I believe we could calculate the degree of inflation if OT income was free from fed tax.
Since too much inflation is harmful would you favor counteracting too much inflation by reducing the money supply and/or velocity? One way that can be done is with increased taxes.

How is it “discriminatory”? If you have a salary job go get an hourly job. If you have a salary job tell the employer you refuse to work extra hours before you take the job for the salary you agree on.

I'm not sure I believe that MAGA at this point can even process proof of grievous misconduct by him. They filter it all out and ignore it. Massive denial.
