Correct me if I am wrong, but tariffs increase the cost of goods. Wouldn't that increase cost change consumer purchasing behavior? If behavior changes, then how can anyone correctly calculate increase in taxes paid?

change and improvement are usually rejected as being crazy. whats funny is probably 90% of the changes I want most people on this board have wanted changed too.

the difference is I don't change my principles just because of my hero worship. the changes I, most of us, want threaten Trump in this case so you are offended and take exception. you dont have a real philosophical or policy issue with my stances, its purely political aka Trump based.

The ultimate example of the foolish wastefulness of her advertising strategy has to be the untold millions she has spent on ads for SEC football games the past few weeks. I mean; I was seeing Harris ads during the Tennessee Alabama game 😳. Two states that are among the redist in America. Like she has any chance whatsoever to pick up a single vote in the EC. She might as well have put a match to a pile of money

She'll be in Harris' cabinet if Harris is installed (which is extremely likely to happen) and if somehow Trump wins she'll be a regular on CNN/MSNBC/FOX or other newstainment network so she'll land on her feet either way.

Maybe. Just remember that Liz is primarily an anti Trump tool. In 14 days, Trump will no longer be on any ballot again (assuming he wins). The democrats, if acting logically (an unlikely scenario I know), would need to begin to pivot to resources useful against Vance or DeSantis.
When someone has made their entire spiel being “anyone but Trump” they become much less useful in opposing someone who is literally NOT Trump; at least that is the way I see it. But I could be 💯 wrong of course

Nope, won't vote with the way our system works. Tyranny by the masses is still tyranny that leaves about half of this country unrepresented but footing the bill for the represented. hiding behind there being another worse option is not justification enough for me to participate in this system.

you aren't stopping the bleeding. Trump will slow the bleeding on a couple issues, but then also increase the bleeding, or create new wounds, elsewhere.

UPS driver here. Don’t know of any drivers being laid off. Now UPS might be getting rid of management who don’t do anything but hurt their profits
