2024 Presidential Race

I will ask you the same question, did you vote in the primaries?
I don't vote. I find it to be the most inherently immoral system of government we have tried so far. going back to straight tyrants would be more moral imo. at least then we are honest about the tyranny. democracies and republics just lie about their oppression and fails to incentivize a better society/government that generates actual results.

it wouldn't even take a total overhaul to markedly make it better. make our country a truly representative republic and it would be amoral at worst.

whats the difference with voting?

you vote and your candidate loses, its the same as not voting. you are complaining about someone you didn't vote for.
you vote and your candidate wins, and your candidate does something bad are you not supposed to complain because that's who you voted for? Do you have to vote for the person to be able to complain?

to me its always the people that voted for a candidate who should be their biggest critics. you voted for reformed immigration, draining the swamp, decreased debt, and got none of those round 1. If I was you, I would be complaining about Trump daily that he didn't fulfill why you voted for him. I certainly wouldn't vote for him a second time if he shafted you the first time. maybe what he did do was enough, but that doesn't preclude complaints against him.

idk, maybe you are into abusive relationships and being lied to, its a free country so you do you, I am fine being different from that.
You are right. Trump didn’t have a perfect batting average. I should solely focus on what he didn’t do, rather than what he did.

I don’t feel shafted at all by his first term. Was a he Amazing?? Hell no. But imo he was pretty damn good. And compared to his predecessor and successor, he did a great job. Unapologetically looking forward to 4 more years.

Then STFU!

Or run for office.

LOL. I am wasting my time debating a person searching for utopia and complaining about everything in the process. Your thoughts and words bring no value to me.

Democrats Target McDonald’s for Price Gouging After Trump Served Customers

Senate Democrats attacked McDonald’s on Tuesday for price gouging while it continues to “grow” profits and serve the needs of customers.

The letter, written by Sens. Ron Wyden (D-OR), Bob Casey (D-PA), and Elizabeth Warren (D-MA), underscores the success of former President Donald Trump’s campaign stop on Sunday when he worked a McDonald’s drive-thru window in Pennsylvania.

Kamala Harris’s Climate Czar: Fossil Fuel Industry Is ‘Death Cult’

The Kamala Harris campaign has tapped eco-loony Camila Thorndike as its “climate engagement director,” a far-left activist who says oil and gas workers are part of the “toxic patriarchy.”

This “race against fascism is still too close,” Thorndike stated last week. “The only way to stop Trump’s Project 2025 from wrecking our progress and lives is to take action.”

In early September, the Harris-Walz campaign brought on Thorndike, who had worked for Sen. Bernie Sanders as a legislative aide drafting climate-related policies, and who served in a senior director post at Rewiring America.

While with Sanders, Thorndike said there is “something evil” about the fossil fuels sector, adding that “there’s no greater source of harm than continuing to cook the planet.”

This will be the person in charge of spending the $10T climate agenda if the socialist ticket is elected.

I know that when I go to McDonald's the workers always waive goodbye to the customers.

What a joke the whole thing is, at so many levels.

🐃💩 I've not seen one person wear a hairnet in any fast food place in years.

They do it all from window to fries to taking orders at the counter.
I've seen some of the workers wear baseball caps but not always.
It’s taken very seriously at any manufacturing operation dealing with food-related products and at any food processing operation. Hair net, face covering, etc. At least it should be getting to you favorite fast food joint clean! No promises from there but it’s all part of the experience that you now pay double for compared to 5 years ago. All that Covid-filled mucus is valuable!
