It’s nerves. He’s still a RS freshman. He nailed every throw against the cupcake teams when there was no pressure and no real athletes in opposing secondaries.

That's why he's not Joe Milton 2.0 as some tried to suggest. Even against bad competition Joe was missing passes. Like you said against Chattanooga and Kent State Nico was deadly accurate. Nico's lack of accuracy lately is largely nerves and pressure from the pass rush. Once the o-line started giving him protection and he settled down he became accurate once again.

I have no doubts about Nico. I think he'll be a stud. These are just part of the growing pains. By the end of the year he'll be the reason we win in the playoffs.

Man the ye of little faith award goes to me in the first half, but man the excitement of turning rhe corner in the second half.

I love the number of former VFLs that came to the game yesterday, all from different eras: Fulmer, Dooley, Butch, Pruitt.

I can’t name them all, but it’s much appreciated that they are coming back and I love that Heupel encourages those guys to come to the games and are always welcome. That’s what we’re about and should always be about!
