True, but don't ever sell Brooks short. He's a very, very solid DB. Plays smart and hits, he's always in the right spot, the corners and lb's can take some chances because they know he'll be in the right spot.....team football.

Yup. Because he is always in the right spot and a good tackler, it frees the others up to play more aggressive. Glad Will is proving all the naysayers wrong and the coaches to be right. That is how it is done when the secondary plays well as a unit.

Not a bold take at all. Only person in the conversation is Cam Sutton and it's pretty clear Jermod is better.

Eric Berry is arguably the best college DB I've ever seen so it'll be hard to pass him.

It's probably going to happen in 2026 season. I have no issues with a 9 game conference schedule. The 3 OOC should be 1 matchup with a Big 20 powerhouse, 1 Mid Tier MAC team and 1 game vs CHATTANOOGA or ETSU every year or rotate the 2.

Competition only makes you better.

There is no reason to play a OOC team odd campus. Home and away ONLY.

MAC teams are scrimmages.

ETSU, we dont want none of that this year. They're tough. Of course i'm kidding but they are a gritty team, as FCS goes. Gave NDSU all they wanted.

Fans are usually too nearsighted and don't see anything that's not right in front of them. Banks has always been a good play caller, but the execution wasn't there early in his career (kind of what we've been seeing on the offensive side of the ball this year). Now we've got the development and the players at every level of the defense.

Will Brooks isn't your standard walk-on white dude defensive back. He was an All-American lacrosse player. Traveled the country competing at the highest level of lacrosse when other guys were camping and getting evaluated by recruiting services. Then in the fall he was intercepting future D1 QBs, guarding future D1 WRs, and making open field tackles on future D1 RBs. Prior to last night he was our 4th highest PFF graded defender. All he's done is prove himself as a starting SEC safety.
