Funny you ask this. At an event in my town in Shelby County a few weeks ago, I ran into someone who has a family member of our Smokey. I think they share a grandparent. He said the current Smokey does struggle in the environment, and the school was giving him one more year to try to adjust. I believe he said they had invited him up with his blue tick to see how he would handle gameday. I enjoyed getting to see a pup so closely related to Smokey.

Needs to be within an hour of Knoxville for 75 years to balance out Bama's time. (Btw, until fairly recently Bama played its big home games in Birmingham.)

Let's be no one knows what the hell to make of us or Bama. For basically similar reasons - inconsistency. Bama is inconsistent in both offense and defense, we are inconsistent in offense. Bama has proven they can be explosive against a good defense (UGA) and we have not.

I'll take the home team and the fans. Tell anyone you know going to be as lit as they have ever been because I truly think they will be the difference.

Lee Sterling, oddsmaker, picked UGA and Tennessee to win outright. Said Bama hasn't shown a good defense all year. Also said deboer hasn't coached in a big sec road game yet.

He's also the guy who picked NC state earlier against us, but he's around 60% for the year on over 100 picks, so he's pretty good.

@jave36 If a coach wanted a commercial airline to intentionally but secretly delay a regularly scheduled commercial flight (not a charter) for an hour in a city airport and a full plane of passengers made to sit for an hour on the runway (without being told the true reason) (and without consideration of their plans or connecting flights) in order that one of the coach's players could catch that flight without having to leave campus earlier than the coach wanted (although he had transportation), how big a conspiracy would that be?

A massive conspiracy involving dozens of not hundreds of people, and there's no way something like that gets covered up for over a year in today's day and age?
