2024 Presidential Race

Its a two edge sword because people claim they want honesty, but the Truth of the matter if someone is completely honest they will never get elected.

America in the screen age loves a liar. Hates a loser.

1960 JFK wins with some truly outrageous and historic lies and grifting
1964 LBJ landslides
1968 Nixon, who has always been a liar, realized trying not to lie in 1968 was a huge mistake
1972 Nixon's mind broke into full schizophrenic paranoia . . . and he won even bigger
1976 Both guys were actually honest, but one seemed a little lost and admitted it when he messed up (always declare victory in politics)
1980/1984 The GOAT--even he didn't know what the truth was!
1988 George HW Bush - this man ran the CIA and knew how to run an op on Dukakis
1992 Clinton - so slimy that Bush thought he could win by being an Honest Abe! Newsflash: Honest Abe was dishonest!
1996 Clinton versus Dole - maybe history's greatest liar/honest mismatch. Dole probably told Liz her ass looked fat when she asked about a dress.
2000 W - won two terms the instant Dick Cheney became the real top of the ticket - with Cheney/Rove and the hapless left trying to find a counterpunch, the current disinformation economy is born and it booms
2008 Obama - a political magician who paid attention to how political success actually is achieved versus two tell it like they see it opponents
2016 Trump - the Lebron James of lying versus the only person on earth less credible - so obviously one of the closest elections ever
2020 Biden - staying in his basement while Trump tried to look like he understood Covid response - a beautiful lie of omission that won the election going away
2024 Trump - Kamala needs to pick up the pace on lies. She seems game but Trump is rounding into playoff Lebron form now. Example: when he started going on about how he could be on a beach sunning "my beautiful body"! It feels like a campaign run by Brad Pitt's character from 12 Monkeys! "They're eating the dogs!!!!" Trump is absolutely cuckoo for Cocoa Puffs right now and swing/undecided voters will 100% love that.

How about Trump's across the board tax increase on every foreign product there is?

And did you know that the proposal to tax ubrealized gains applies only to people with over $100 million?

You either don't know that (HIGHLY likely) or you choose to ignore it.

Or maybe you have $100 million. If so, we'll done.
and you think hookers and bartenders actually like you.

pretty much all of the taxes we pay on income started out as an "eat the rich" tax before morphing into making the middle class pay it too.

and it just makes no sense on its face.

The U.S. elected two Presidents that admitted to murdering Americans, a major party nominated another candidate that came in second that was involved in the murdering of Americans.

We left lying a long time ago.

Trump is leading in some polls now, and still could lose the battleground states..I have seen political pundits even discuss it. Your +3 narrative is just based on 2016 and 2020 paths that just happened to occur, but doesnt make it the only visble possibility.

You have the same setup for +3 as you did in 2016 and 2020 (Divisive R vs unlikable D). It just becomes a math exercise. You have higher independent turnout in battleground states and usually those lean R. I dont expect Kamala to outperform Hillary or Biden with this segment and tbh, +3 may not be enough. While not in doubt, the trends you see in non-competitive states (suburban voting in 2020) will carry over to battlegrounds. If Trump gets suburban vote back to 2016 levels, he wins.

Even back to 2012, Obama won popular +4 and he won the biggest battleground state by +1 (FL). In 2008, he won by +7 and won the biggest battlegrounds by +4.

May want to brush up your music history and song meanings, especially if youre mentioning songs Stevie Nicks as a refrence.I’ll give you Kip Winger…are we allowing Winger and Taylor Swift in the same category now? If we want to discuss reaching.

Could of at least mentioned Benny Mardones “Into the Night”
It sounds like you are an expert enough and can tell us all the differences between Stevie's lyrics and Taylor's lyrics, and why Taylor's are unacceptable.

I don't like her or her music, that's where I stand. you can leave it at that too. making crap up pushing some ick factor in singing about teenagers is laughable.

In one week, in December of 1980, Stevie Nicks suffered two blows: John Lennon was gunned down in New York City and her uncle John died after a long battle with cancer. The trauma and grief of the two events inspired her hit “Edge of Seventeen.”

You can do your own research on Taylor cashing in at 34.

What a disaster. Why does her voice always tremble when she speaks? Is she that afraid/incompetent on her own? She exudes zero confidence or strength, much like Biden, which is needed as the leader of the free world. I'm not saying Trump is any better but at least he has confidence in his blubbering idiocy in public.
