Her handlers did her no favors…..showing up 15 min late and then telling Bret you have 20 minutes. He had to cram the interview which immediately sent it to confrontation.

That was bad…….real bad.

At this point it seems she’s doing this because she knows she’s behind but, at the same time, I’ve thought the same as you all along. There’s no way Dems will let Trump win this one. They’ll find a way. It appears he has all the momentum right now though so it’s going to be a wild few weeks here.

Tariffs on every product…..he has not said that, he would only use it as a negotiating tool On specific companies that are making the threat of taking American jobs outside the country. Dems are arguing Tariffs leading to higher inflation. Which administration has had higher inflation? Which one utilitized tariffs as a tool? Did you see his interview with Bloomberg / Chicago Economic counsel? They were all applauding his answers on this subject.


Unrealized tax gains. While it is true that it will start out to people with over $100 M portfolios. People with those portfolios are smart people and they have smart people administering their money. Do you think thy will continue in the stock market or will they go somewhere else to invest? What will happen to the rest of us when the stock market is cut in half over night??

Additionally, how long will it be before the $100M threshold is the top tier and they start developing lower tiers to take from the rest of us?


Surely you cannot be for this.

Exactly. Only an idiot would be for taxes on unrealized gains. It simply makes the stock market too risky for many investors, and the people with big portfolios are the ones that have the power to move stock market prices. The market tanks because of this and suddenly people's retirements are put in jeopardy because the value of their 401K's have tanked.

Well, we’ve pretty much established that I am an “anti-Harris” voter, more than a “trump voter.”

I do get what you are saying, and I am not extolling trump’s virtue at all.

My family was better off financially during Trump’s presidency. The world sure seemed safer. Harris cannot articulate one thing she’d do differently than Biden, or one thing she’d go back and change.

Trump’s disingenuousness doesn’t excuse Harris’. If she wants to be the anti-trump, she sure shouldn’t be acting like him.

She lied, and continues to lie to the American people about serious cognitive issues involving our current sitting President. That alone is dangerous and disqualifying to me.

Perhaps this rings with a little more substance. I doubt it does to you, but that is ok. The Dems had a chance to elect a difference maker in their primary process. Instead, they let personality and equity control what the voters should control. If you won’t understand why that makes a difference to voters like me, you won’t understand a demographic that could shift the balance of this election. What else can I say?

And, as I’ve said before, I will be shocked if trump is President this time next year.

Last sentence: I’m not so sure; the only demographic that seems fired up to vote are older black women.. my kids are in their twenties and I am pretty much nagging them to vote 😂.. younger people just aren’t feeling it, and a lot of the groups Dems usually take for granted as being ‘in the bag’ sort of aren’t… we’ll see

They kept Biden in the basement, they knew he was incapable of holding the office, they have witnessed his decline while still lying to us, and now last night she spread so much ******** misinformation it's laughable "Trump's gonna use the military on Americans"..... please preach more about this "truth" you seek.

unless you are going to establish some base standard, I don't see the point. I don't see the point in testing because most people aren't going to really know or understand cholesterol levels, blood pressure, BMI, or anything else. and what little knowledge they have will only apply to themselves and not someone in a different body condition. and each side would just bring out their own experts to say whatever they wanted about the same test results.

IF you are going to include a physical aspect, I would rather see them do things, put it on camera for all to see. I always found it interesting in school having to complete those Presidential Fitness challenges or whatever, and thinking there is no way any of these politicians would be able to do them. not even sure if they are still around.
