2024 Presidential Race

Then why is the DOJ suing them over this? Should be a non-issue,

Then why is the DOJ suing them over this? Should be a non-issue,

Because it’s silly season. As long as the two parties can get 60 percent of the country to live inside this framework of a Lib v MAGA battle of good and evil there can never be any changes to the status quo that has allowed these frauds to become so rich and powerful.

Honestly, if we had national ranked choice voting neither party could elect a Speaker of the House this year and they’d both either moderate their positions or cease to exist within a few cycles.

It’s the mutually agreed upon party-line scaremongering that people here participate in every day that keeps things in the beautiful gridlock that DC fattens itself up on.

If Trump were not such an A-hole he'd be just like every sell out politician who pays Americans lip service and then sells out to the DC elite. Trump being an A-hole is precisely why he is worth a damn to the American people. He's OUR a-hole, and the only candidate in my lifetime to stand up to the Beltway elites who think of Americans as chattel.
To paraphrase Jack Nicholson‘s version of the Joker, „this Country needs an enema!“

The suit was literally never about them. Marina Medvin made that up and you fell for it. It's for violating the 90-day quiet period which doesn't apply to removal of dead voters, but no one looks things up before firing off takes anymore. Find where dead people are mentioned at all

Why should we be concerned about people too stupid to fill out a voter registration form? I know why you're concerned, because we know who they will vote for. 😅

Because gay white men are lower on the victim hierarchy than "women of color".
Whatever the reason, that’s fine, Each party gets to choose their candidate. I just think if you are blaming bigots for a candidate not making it out of a particular party’s primary, you should be aware enough to know that you are calling that party a party of bigots.

I have read enough of OP’s posts to doubt that was the OPs intent, but that is the end result.

It is more than slightly ironic.

Not a good sign for Harris in Wisconsin, Michigan, and Pennsylvania. Trump isn't performing as well in Georgia or North Carolina, but Georgia isn't a Republican stronghold anymore. Also, the full impact of the abysmal Helene response hasn't showed up in the polls yet.

Pete would be president if he weren't gay. He's so freaking good. It's a shame that America's prejudice holds him back.

Probably more his own prejudice dealings as mayor thats holding him back. But you knew that. Him being gay is a coverup for the racial tension on his watch. Not to mention he can’t do the job he has now.

So who cares for God's sake? Africa? Really? They're all coming here to America.

Population predictions expect about 10B people in 2050.

2.5 Billion will be on the continent of Africa.

Currently 1.5B...about 19% of global population. A billion additional people in 25 years?

Note
Almost 5B on the continent of Asia...about 62% of global population.

But most Republicans would probably argue the covid vax is not safe, or effective.
I took it a) because I am at an age where I am a higher risk and 2) I couldn’t fly or visit Europe without it. Most Republicans were smart enough to make their own decisions based on risk vs benefit. We did NOT need a government making the decisions for us. Especially since it did nothing to stop transmission.

Harris has lost six percentage points on Trump in a single month in the NBC News poll, giving the former president the slimmest lead of 47% to 46% among registered voters — with third-party contenders included.

Last month, Harris scored 47% to Trump’s 41% in the same poll.

Past two elections NBC 3.7 average error in favor of democrats.

Can safely add 3.5 pts to all polls for Trump. The race isn’t close.
