Virginia voter roles are meticulously maintained and documented. The likelihood of a non-citizen voting is as close to zero as in any state. The supposed purge is a tiny number of voters.

Honestly, what happens here is some citizens fill out their DMV paperwork wrong and probably had no intention to vote anyway because they don’t respond when the state asks them to correct it and show their papers again.

In short, like 99% of political stories, a whole lot is being made out of nothing. People too dumb to fill out paperwork probably shouldn’t vote anyway.

As someone that actually lives in Virginia, the complaints that keep being made about "legitimate" voters being removed have been strengthened by exactly zero evidence. Most local media would be all over this beating the drum but they've even abandoned it because bitching about dead people being removed from voter lists is monumentally stupid and a losing proposition all around.

Removing dead people and noncitizens at the very least should be common practice. Removing people with multiple registrations across state lines also should be done.
