Well....Meyer cant go meet with recruits right now, can he? And Jesse was just across the country in FL last week....so wouldnt the only option be a phone meeting? I hope he is "meeting" with him to let him know he is NOT coming to UF. I am more frazzled about this recruiting situation that I was about Bryce.....mainly cause Ididnt think we had a shot at him!

Him being a Gator makes less since than USC or UT. I guess he must really think a lot of Chris Leak. Thing is, he's probably the closest thing to Leak that we have seen since Leak left Florida. The drama continues.

I would read something into it if I thought Scroggins was really considering Florida. I don't. I wouldn't worry at all about that. I'm sure it was set up by Urban and Jesse feels obligated. The only reason we are even hearing about it is because jmva contacted him. These types of conversations happen with coaches all the time. Wouldn't surprise me at all if Kiffin has already had a similar conversation.

If he was meeting with Pete Carroll on the phone I would read more into that just because of the rumors.

Just don't think he's going there - would be waaaaaaay out there but I guess anything can happen. You'd think he'd wait till morning to let Urban know that he eliminated UF though.

Yeah but it is only 945 in Cali, Urban knows this and probably scheduled it for around this time. It is not good and it is not bad but it is freaking me out. Losing to USC cool but to be a Gator he is then public enemy number one.

I don't think the timing is that odd. Meyer probably wanted to do it at a time that was good for Jesse, it's only 9:45 his time. And seriously you think Meyer goes to sleep that early anyways?

There's not a lot of recruits, if any, that are going to schedule phone time with a coach that has a 3 hour time difference ahead, especially on a Friday night if there isn't something going on.

If they had planned on speaking tonight and that was the time Scroggins was going to be available, why wait until morning? Maybe Jesse has things going on tomorrow and tonight was the best time.

I don't know why you guys are reading anything into this. It means nothing.
