Not even remotely. Weakest hold call I’ve ever seen. Meanwhile Bama and Georgia will be putting our DL in sleeper hold later this season.

Nico has made a few bad reads on RPO’s… but the playcalling has been dictated by venables and the defense. He taking what the defense is giving and trusting his defense

I think it's partly that and partly not trusting the OL.

But I don't see why Sampson is playing so little.

Matt Loeffler is head referee. We had him for the aTm game. He's a former Big 12 ref. He's not worst SEC ref but he still a SEC ref.

I think he trusts the defense, knows OU isn't going to score 22 so just trying not to make a mistake.

Heupel is telling everyone OK's offense can't beat us

I think we are playing very conservative, I'd like to see a few chances but as elite as this defense has looked tonight you lean on it.

He’s been more conservative tonight than arguably any game he’s called as the HC. Maybe it’s because it’s his old team. Maybe it’s because he respects Venables. Hell, maybe it’s because he downed 5 edibles before the game and forgot he enjoys winning by fiddy. Whatever the reason, it’s some BS.
