In 2023, UT ran 71 plays per game (36 in CFB). The snap speed was 21.2 seconds per play (4 in CFB).

In 2022, UT ran just under 74 plays per game (34 in CFB). The snap speed was 20.2 (2 in CFB).

Not that different on the speed. The difference, I think, was our inability to hit big plays so the offense looked different while not actually being much slower.

The type of plays were drastically different, too.

Last year it was a barrage of throws at or behind the LOS. Little to no confidence to throw downfield or over the middle outside a heavily choreographed situation.

Me either, particularly, but I made the concession since Sweet loved them. Kinda like the Woo.

I do LOVE the dark mode. Not only are they awesome, and the recruits love them; but since we have the policy of always repping our classic orange-on-white brand for major rivals, they double as a dis to KY or the Capons.

Honestly the game I think could end in an upset is actually Old Dominion at South Carolina.

Gamecocks lost a TON of offensive production so I'm not sure what they're going to look like this year.

They only return 4 starters on offense all new WRs, RB, and a new QB as well as 3 of their OL being new additions.

ODU has some studs. They upset Va Tech last year.

Btw, Vandy hosting Va Tech Saturday at noon. Hokies have been down recently but frfr they're gonna drop 40 on the Dores.
