Recruiting Football Talk VIII

That's nuts. He was cured immediately after the 3 weeks?
After the time period with the acupuncture needles there is a gradual re introduction process. Started with a week of just cooking ground beef in the kitchen. Then a week of eating a spoonful of ground beef a day. Then a gradual increase the next week each week for a month. Then the same process for steak the next month. If there was any reaction in any of the weeks. You had to back up and repeat the previous week.

I rafted the Gauley once. Got hung under the raft in a hydraulic and nearly drowned. To this day I still have issues from it. Every year, one or two people don't make it home from similar trips down the Gauley. I fly airplanes and ride motorcycles and high performance EUCs and nobody has ever accused me of being a sissy or a crybaby, but if my acute awareness of the risk of drowning makes you puke, then puke away.
My family has defended families in wrongful death suits. The details are chilling.

Worked in the rafting industry previously, in Hot Springs NC, and have boated my whole life. Also, two times when fishing where the sheer volume of water nearly got me, once at Long's Island on Holston in Kingsport, other in Bluff City, in the creek-that's-a-dammed-river.

There is no way on God's Earth that I will ever stop fishing, or boating. Two things I love. But, I rarely if EVER wear waders. And I sure as **** dont kayak alone anymore.

Imo, and in my own experience, red meat isn’t the culprit it’s made out to be. My diet mostly consists of red meat and my cholesterol is LOW.
My overall cholesterol is within normal range as well. It’s my triglycerides that are too high.

You probably helped the crackhead ex-Peay coach get hired at UTEP so he could take out more our players with his dirty sleazy crackhead style of football again this year. Where will you get him moved to next year? You won't be satisfied until he takes down our entire football program.
My suspicious about that arse-hat last year was that he took advantage of the fact that none of our guys would be willing to get ejected and therefore be suspended for the Florida game the next week. He considered that to mean open season on endless personal fouls without retaliation. Overall, it was the SEC officials' fault for letting that 🐂💩 go on all day long.

Never considered the risk of waders, but I imagine them suckers would fill up nicely and drag you wherever the river wished.

I just read that the NCAA rule for in-helmet communication says that communication will be shut off with 15 seconds remaining on the play clock or when the ball is snapped, whichever comes first.

Is this how the NFL does it?
Correct next question.

Reactions: Orange.
Is there a big flyover planned before kick-off this weekend?
The Vol Walk starts at 10:30 a.m., with the Pride of the Southland Band March beginning at 11:05 a.m. A pregame flyover will feature two T-38 Talon jets from Whiteman Air Force Base, Missouri. Looks like just two training jets from Missouri. Pretty meh honestly.

Cool. I'll see if I can film them. They're usually making training passes by now.

I just remember our DBs were either getting beat every play or every other play and that damn QB they had lit us up. That game still makes me mad thinking about it even now with our piss poor performance.
