My dad and a friend from high school that I stay in contact both have issues where they are basically allergic to red meat after tick bite incidents. I enjoy red meat, but have a genetic predisposition toward high cholesterol. I choose to limit my cholesterol intake through moderation and as regular exercise as I can manage. Would love to lower my daily stress levels too, and am hoping that is possible in the near future. My point is, and I think it has been mentioned during this discussion, that every person is a little different. Some folks can eat all the red meat and dairy they want with minimal negative impacts. Others need to be more cautious. Each person needs to be aware of their own body and what works for them.
