Only devils advocate statement I'm going to make is this:If you would do if anyways then why do you need a law to make you?
I didn't say it did, just that the law bothers me not at all.If you would do if anyways then why do you need a law to make you?
So lead with the Cowboys…The latter was the point of reference. Telling him you’re an UT grad from that time frame gets you dropped off into the Caribbean.Saying you’re from DFW gets you stories over a Heineken Light.
Helicopter parenting and litigious society. It sucks.I choose not to do meth but whatever you choose to do is up to you…. I was talking more in general…
My kids youth church group for example..
1.a person fell out of a raft while white rafting… no more white water rafting.
2. a person broke an ankle skating….. no more roller akating
we can’t ride in the back of truck around cades cove.
we have four foot high plastic scoots instead of slides at the park.
My mom use to dress up the kids like they were ready to disarm a bomb while riding their bike with training wheels on her drive way.
The list goes on and on.
Lawnmower parenting is worse than helicopter parenting.Helicopter parenting and litigious society. It sucks.
Falling out of the raft is kinda a major part of whitewater rafting. It's not a lazy river float. They give you helmets and life vests for a reason.
Let me guess? No ropes courses because someone fell off the ropes?
Wish you could parlay 11 wins + sec title,Not trying to freak anyone out just hypothetically speaking here in betting terms with my colleaguesbut umm..… @Enki_Amenra @mrMet @ionaVOL @Volsdeep4 @Jackcrevol So I’m digging the 9 wins at +250 right cool…BUT!…take a peak ALLLLLLLL the way to the bottom…BAAAAZIIIIIING! 11 wins for +500 now that’s really really NICE!..seeing that has me considering TN winning the SEC title at +1500

WW Rafting is a very dangerous thing. Even with helmets, river socks, and PFD seemed like someone drowns each year on the Nolichucky. Heck, grown ass men and women drown in Boone Lake, with no current.I choose not to do meth but whatever you choose to do is up to you…. I was talking more in general…

Also, taking any situation. Whether its asking said question, then framing the answer in example which puts yourself into the equation - every...single...time. Gets old AF. Like clockwork.Rucker has a tendency to present a question in a way that tries to prove he already knows the answer to it. Its insufferable.
The western medical community is still wrestling with it, but there does appear to be a link between insulin resistance and type 3.Is sugar consumption a factor in this type 3 diabetes?
Desmond has Oklahoma and Texas making from the SEC in their first year. That's wishful thinking, and with DJ Uiagalelei as QB I don't think FL. State makes it over Clemson or Miami. Maybe we stomp NC State then they run over the rest of their scheduleYall remembers these names for later on.

That's a good one. I perceive lawnmower parents are the same ones who invented participation trophies for their kids so their kids wouldn't have to deal with the obstacle of not initially being good at something and having to work for success.Lawnmower parenting is worse than helicopter parenting.
The lawnmower parent tries to mow down and potential obstacles before their kids even know it exists.
The two groups of parents drove me nuts in coaching.
Drove me away from Scouts.

Personally for me, I see a youth group not going WW Rafting. But there's also nuance to it.
Who is the company? What is the river? How many kids?
Right now, unless there's a dam release you'd probably be pushing the raft. Frankly, at these levels, you'd be better in a tube, floating the Little River.
Low water is dangerous because you can get caught easier. Normally where water would carry you over a keeper area, now you're in it.
End rant.
Yes you did. You cried like a baby when you didn't get what you wanted. That's a good one. My parents used to give me the "your generation is the participation trophy generation" speech until I hit them back with, "No, your generation invented that for us. That isn't our fault. We didn't ask for them."
Equally as obnoxious are the PARENTS of kids, lined up hands outstretched to form an archway for kids to run through, whooping and hollering...Lawnmower parenting is worse than helicopter parenting.
