He absolutely should debate her for at least two big reasons:

1) It might be the only chance to get her positions on the record
2) She's the front runner. Trump needs to make up ground

She doesn't do well speaking off the cuff. Trump should push for lots of debates and criticize her when she refuses

On the other hand, she is a trained prosecutor who knows how to handle chronic liars on the stand. And she is a decent speaker especially with time to prepare. Just my opinion but I think Trump is taking a big chance debating her. If he acts like he usually does, there is a fair chance that he will panic, leave the script and go off the rails. And if he starts the personal attacks, he is going to make matters worse for himself among female and ethnic voters and independents. Didn’t have to worry about that with Biden.

I just think it would be a mistake to underestimate her. Biden is basically a vegetable and wasn’t quick enough to deal with the exaggerations. A decent prosecutor deals with liars and half truths every day. It wouldn’t surprise me at all if he backs out. Might be smart if he did.
