Hmmmm…would a combo of @peaygolf and @Glitch measure up to @nicksjuzunk? Probably not….but whoever owns the game thread, steal the screenshots from Glitch’s post above and this content from Peay.
Interesting choice. . .
Wasn't Austin-Peay @Glitch 's game thread that nearly annihilated our entire athletic department?

@peaygolf & @Glitch working together could signal the start of Armageddon.

Mocs also represents the Mockingbird..........

"Faced with politically sensitive issues and in need of a stronger core identity to help establish a strong brand as "Chattanooga's Team", the athletics department embarked on a comprehensive identity program in 1996. A new direction for the athletics identity was determined, moving away from the politically incorrect Native American Indian imagery.

Several identities have been used in the past. With the old nickname "Moccasins," a snake was used in the 1920s and an Indian was used until the year of major change in 1996. A moccasin shoe was even used in the 1980s.

In 1996, it was decided to adopt the State Bird of Tennessee, the Mockingbird, as the core of the new identity, while incorporating the strong regional imagery of Chattanooga's vast railroad history. The mascot "Scrappy" was born and a new emphasis was placed on the athletics department's role in the region."

On that note: for Haskins' career as a Titan his long rush is 12yds and longest reception is 10yds.

In today's game alone, Small has a 12yd rush and 12yd reception. He's averaging 5ypc. He also has a 24yd reception earlier in preseason. Plus he's an asset as a pass-blocker. Had a bad fumble but seems to be making up for it.
He is really the little engine that could.

Dude just does everything pretty well. Hard not to play him!

It's been a rough year on this farm, we've welcomed new additions, took in a couple of sick animals we really couldn't afford to..... But as always we make it work. Lost a couple of our goats, one a surprise, the other was a long term cancer case nobody wanted a few years ago.

When we were still able to rescue we always made a promise to our animals. That we would offer them the best life we possibly could and relieve their pain when they told us it was time.

Tonight the longest tenured animal on our farm told us it was time. She's been here since the beginning, the prior owners of this place took her in when her previous owner realized she couldn't be ridden....tossed away like so many are.

The distinguished lady on the left pictured above is Charlotte from a few years ago. She was already an old girl in that photo, around 30 years. It's how I like to remember her, before going nightblind and then completely blind a year later. She had been stalled the last year because she couldn't adjust to the paddock no matter how hard we tried. With the help of our vet she went peacefully this evening after going down.

Our old farmhouse in the distance with the sunrise seems fitting, Chase that sunrise and keep the darkness behind you old girl......Rest Easy!
