Simple. It is because both slavery and abortion are possible only due to the same flawed assumption; that the person involved is somehow not fully a human being. Before you enslave or kill someone, you must first convince yourself that they are less human than you and therefore not deserving of the same rights as you enjoy.

#1.. You do know hs are full of young white men idolizing tom brady,Peyton etc dreaming someday to play on the NFL

Where do you find democrats are anti family, the party that supports childhood education, school lunches,health care.

I would not think that 151 blacks were murdered by police officers, why would you say that?

Both of these things seem very different than the issue with Harris.

Personally I was an atheist in my early 20s and I didn’t vote for Trump the first time because I didn’t think he was conservative enough. Although he’s far from my favorite, I’ve since grown to like him more than I initially and will probably vote for him again

So was CS Lewis. Some of the most committed of Christians you will ever meet are former atheists. This is because they only arrived in their faith after concerted and deeply logical thought. They took the hard path to get where they are.

36 and I can’t point to any one key moment. A lot of my original issues were more so issues with man than with God. I would see members of my family who were drug addicts, but my grandmother would still think they were just perfect because they were in that pew every week.

The other issue I had as a younger man was if there was ever any thing I disagreed with a religion on, I would reject that religion immediately (regardless of how minor that issue may be). Now I realize that I don’t even agree with myself 100% of the time.

The issue with Harris is it raises the question of “who is she”?

Her 2020 campaign would imply she’s one of the most radical the left has to offer.

But now she seems to have changed all that. Did she learn and change or is she saying what she needs to say to get elected? I think she’s just talking a good game. And it’s insane the media hasn’t asked her about any of that
