OldTimer’s Dugout - Off Topic Thread

Kikuchi gives up a double then a homer to the first two Rays. Proceeded to toss 5.2, on 95 pitches, 11 Ks, including a stretch of eight in a row. Not too bad. Threw a change up 24% of pitches. Previous highest in a game in his career was 13%.

Still, 2-2, B6

Hope it was worth it dumbass.

On our way to Omaha we saw the cleats from the statute at the Negro League Baseball Museum in Kansas City:

Mookie Betts expected to be out at least 2 more weeks, Max Mincy out til at least September. Freddie probably gone for season and he should be ,family comes first.

I predict when Mookie returns these bums will be 3rd in N.L. West and barely hanging on to a Wild Card spot.

Now my rant about the Phillies, seems like they're fixing to have the biggest in season choke job. These bums have been worse than he Dodgers since All Star break. What's so bad they have no major injuries.

Ranger Suarez crumbling like a cheap cookie now, Nola sucks. Harper hasn't been seen before the Dodgers series.

So many key injuries throughout the league this year.
I really hope to see Freddie back soon, under good circumstances.
It’s hard not to root for a guy like him.

It’s always easy for us to be negative, but on a positive, your boy Gavin Lux has stepped up and played pretty damn well in Freddie’s absence.
Imo, that’s the sign of a good clubhouse.
I was worried about this with the Braves, but they seem to be coming together lately.
