As for comments, from my perspective the media sometimes tries to slant it towards their readership. Also, I think UF is very interested in this guy.

He doesn't have a USC offer...

Let me ask you this....

If a prospect got an offer from a school, but yet the school said they would offer the best player at a camp and it would be the only player at that position. What would you be told to do since a website published that reported that probably shouldn't have based on that camp coming up and didn't want to run off the other kids that are coming to that camp?? It's called damage control and we just saw it with Pat Harris this year and Denarious Moore a couple years ago. He probably does have a verbal offer, but I'm guessing they want to make it official at the camp since most believe he's going to be the best anyways. What happens if he stinks it up out of the other 5-6 QB's that will be there?? Then he won't have an offer. Schools do this to add an extra incentive to do well.

Well then, if he has a USC offer, you must be VERY, VERY encouraged since he hasn't already committed to the Trojans and is paying money out of his own pocket to travel all the way across the country to attend 2 other camps...

If he does, nothing will be final with it until after that camp. Which is why he had to deny it because of what that website published.

So you're saying that USC has told him, "hey, if you come to camp and beat out these other QB's, you have a USC offer." Umm... I think that's what we've all assumed...

No, I think they verbally offered him and told him that camp is just a formality, but if you stink it up then it's off the table. That's why he had to retract what he told their ESPN affiliate.

Even if he earned an offer at USC's camp, I doubt he would decide to go there. I think Florida is who we will battle with for his services.
