Here’s an example. I’m at a 12-year old bday party, and one kid has been in the kiddy pool by himself for the last 20 minutes slamming a swim noodle into the water repeatedly. No idea why. Pretty special.

I've heard many pastors describe their job that way... or journalists covering the White House.

Now that I think about it, it's good prep for lots of jobs.

We/my parents host a lot of pool parties. We have a standing invite for anyone to come over to our house and use our pool, etc. My mom loves kids and realizes there are parents that just need a break or they've given up trying to control their kid. We the perfect set up to host a large number of people. So when kids act like that, my mom would just point to him and it would be my job to distract him and include him in something so little kids could use the kiddie pool.

There's usually a way to improve most boy's attitude is why I asked about his age to other kids where you are.
