I like rap quite a bit and my musical taste was heavily influenced by both of my parents who are slightly older than you.I was one of the only kids who listened to rap when I was in middle school in the 80s (amongst other genres). All of my friends told me it was a fad and would be gone within a few years![]()

I think my dad graduated hs in 1985 and my mom in 1990. so whatever kids in hs and college listened too back then, we have on cds and some of my dad's rock is on both CDs and LPs.
