The people he is getting abuse from are not only the ones he directly offended though. There has been nothing like this in American history or at least modern history. An ordinary human would have crumbled by now. So, when you say he doesn't have thick skin... well, with all the lawsuits, indictments, verbal abuse, really a bunch of treason going on, etc. who in all of history would be still standing? NOBODY.

Trump hasn't exactly kept his cool the whole time, or really even some of it. The Biden debate this month was the first time I ever saw him pull any punches to show thick skin.

That's a pretty extreme characterization of my post. Quite the head scratcher at that. I hold POTUS to a higher standard than I would to you or me, but I do hold the same standard for everyone as to how they treat people and handle conflicts. There's some pretty defined distinctions within that standard too. It can't be viewed through a binary lens

I don't think I would say he is a victim. I would say factually I can't think of someone that has taken this kind of assault legally, verbally, illegally, and at this point physically in all of history, not at this scale - not even close.
