Trump Assassination Attempt(s)

It’s July 22 (Day 9 post murder attempt) and we haven't seen a single press conference from USSS, DHS or the FBI.
Not a word.
They are now denying FOIA requests about the incident.
The first public official that will comment on the basic facts of this case will be USSS Director Cheatle testifying before house committee on Monday morning at 10am EST (assuming they don't try to stop that today or will announce Cheatle isn’t coming).
I challenge anyone that doesn't think this is unprecedented, to name an instance where something this big happened and we see complete radio silence for 9-days.
This is similar to Las Vegas shooting. They pretty much dismissed that shooting saying 'well, we think it was just a disgruntled white guy. That's it! No investigation into how he went unseen knocking out walls and carrying 30+ weapons and ammo through a large hotel lobby and nobody saw or heard anything. Video in all the stairwells and hallways were turned off (Epstein murder sound familiar) so there is no recording of him doing this. What in the hell has happened to our country?

Count your blessings. I have long predicted that some nut will employ a kamikaze drone attack on a major American sports event stadium or arena. I was laughed at as an alarmist. Yet, some places already have trained birds of prey (BOP) to intercept and take down intrusive drones. Some use anti-drone guns or other devices to electronically disable or take control of drones. Count your blessings, Trumper? Yes, some nitwit could have used an explosive, or poison gas armed drone, or even an RC plane for the assassination attempt. Thankfully, that didn't happen. Mark my words, it's only a matter of time before some sick person makes such an attempt on a sports or political target. You have no idea just how sick society has become. Indeed, one person created a DIY drone capable of firing a hand gun. You have no idea what's to come.

Most sporting events already have drones they use for coverage and various shots so it would probably be difficult to differentiate them in a timely manner to do anything.

"doritos are secure" would normally be hilarious if not for this gross incompetence... how did this person get selected for the position exactly?

She may just be the most despicable denizen of DC I have ever seen.
She says she is taxing on „to get answers“. So I guess she is the only person on the planet who can conduct an investigation? No one else could lead the investigation if she were to resign?
She is certainly joining John Mitchell in the pantheon of despicability.

Did Kimberly Cheatle have any military background or experience?

I honestly think that a SS Director should have a background in our Special Forces (Green Beret, Navy Seal, Rangers, etc.) or Federal law information (i.e. FBI) that is related to combat experience and enforcement.

Why?

How would she not have been qualified?
I'm not defending his statement. But people often considered "qualified" have no business in certain positions.

I don't know much about her background but it would be hard for me to conceive that she would ever be considered the best person for a job like this.

You need someone who has experience or background in dealing with threats. These agencies have that background. Historically, most SS had this background and training. Military may NOT be the only background as positions in NSA, FBI, etc. could have that level and background (or even state agencies).

Corporate Security is NOT proper background.

I am not sure if she was qualified or not but you could probably point the finger at our own government for not having clear and concise job requirements to hold these positions.

Good question…..let’s make it easier.

Can she holster a Glock?

This might be the stupidest sh't Ive heard....
Give Director Cheatle (gotta love that name) a break. She has launched an investigation to determine if representative Jackson-Lee is in fact deceased. She can not speak to the progress of said investigation at this time but will realesse a report in 60 days.

She spent 27yrs in the protection operations dept and then was head of security for a huge Corp. To pawn this off as a dei hire is just lazy and pretty dumb
