Trump Assassination Attempt(s)

Wow. Ro Khana isn’t playing. He’s a Dem and demanding she resign.

She’s done she doesn’t survive this interview.

Edit: and CNN cut away from him gutting her on live TV 😂
Good. The expectation that politicians should support appointees of their own political party even when they **** the bed has got to be one of the dumbest contrivances in history.

Cheatle seems to be doing her best to get a bipartisan demand that she step down. She is f$&@ing stupid.
She may just be the most despicable denizen of DC I have ever seen.
She says she is taxing on „to get answers“. So I guess she is the only person on the planet who can conduct an investigation? No one else could lead the investigation if she were to resign?

Oh I agree. And I’ll say I’m not a fan of Ro Khana’s politics but he’s generally a straight shooter (pun intended) and I’m normally gonna at least hear him out when he speaks. I may not agree with him but I’ll listen.

AOC gave the most reasonable and coherent statements I’ve ever heard from her. Even the democrat reps are outraged.

It’s been 10 days and Cheatle still doesn’t know if the shooter carried the gun onto the roof or put it there earlier. Congress should take action to fire her today!

Cheatle should be fired during this hearing.

No "come to my office and I'll accept your resignation.'

Just sending in a staffer and handing her a letter of termination during this hearing.
If they take a break she should be fired/allowed to resign during the break and upon reconvening a statement made she has resigned and the meeting is adjourned

Even if they were made up by her staffers, those were good questions...

I think Congress knows, like a lot of us know, the optics on this are horrible. Furthermore, even with all the "insurrection" nonsense about January 6th, this could have (and maybe would have) resulted in far more violence than J6.

I have my own theory about that, but regardless, when both sides of the aisle are giving you the 3rd degree, it's time to go.

I don't typically put much stock into congressional hearings, but holy crap, this is one of the worst things I've ever seen.

Normally, there's a lot of grandstanding like we saw with the one idiot trying to link gun control into this hearing.

But when the majority of both D and R are out for blood, that says something.
