Money wise, that may be difficult. There are some rules (I think) about transferring money to different candidates outside the primary winner and the running mate.

Hubert Humphrey, the eventual nominee of the Democratic Party. didn't participate in any of the Democratic Party Primaries in 1968. After Robert Kennedy was assassinated, his delegates were left uncommitted. It created a chaotic hellscape in Chicago.

Yep. Regardless of what people think of her, she’s the VP. And as much as it pains me to think about this, she should be the POTUS right now. Biden should step down from office today! Meaning Kamala would be the leader of not only the party, but of this country.

Jul. 19, 2024 – 08:26 – The Department of Justice is fighting efforts from several groups to obtain audio recordings of the interview former special counsel Robert Hur conducted with President Joe Biden last year, according to court documents filed Thursday evening. DOJ attorneys wrote that there is “no basis” under the Freedom of Information Act for the department to provide the recordings of Biden’s interview, an argument that comes after the department released the transcript of it in March.

Yes. Humphrey was a pro-war candidate, who supported LBJ's policies on Vietnam. As it turned out .... so did Nixon.

Luther posted earlier that we've been without a functional president for 8 years. If that be true, I'm not afraid of VPKH taking over. I may not agree with her but she is mentally competent.
