I wish. I think Gavin is playing the long game and will support Kamala for '24, knowing full well she won't win. Then he's the guy for 2028. The only problem for him is that he's a white male. The only way around that is to push hard left to atone for that.
His only problem is he can’t win middle America. Beshear would be the best choice for Democrats and they could get someone like Hakem Jeffries or Raphael Warnock for VP. Beshear would likely pull many independents and any conservative turned off by Vance.
A dark horse I’ll throw out could be Maryland gov. Wes Moore.
