Trust me, the Secret Service stuff stinks to high heaven here. I go back and forth. I think the likely answer is gross administrative neglience. But Im not conpletely opposed to the idea that Cheatle and Mayorkas could have willfully put RFK and Trump in harm's way through misallocation of resources....

Well my angle and reason to care, was for me the 9/11 trade evidence is pretty staggering. And following the money usually gets closer to whose pulling the strings.....even Cheatle is just a puppet. There's about 3-4 puppet master groups who stand to benefit....and when first presented it seemed to narrow them down. Obviously Dems and Biden have reasons. But one could argue that RINO's and the BUsh types stand to gain even more. Then there's the Atlantic Council....(NATO Ukraine etc) and we've already seen what they have been willing to do on tech censorship. That this was a planned hit by more then one individual to me is obvious, but which group?.....

I struggle to buy that this was a hit called by a large group. No offense, if it was, Trump's head gets blown off.

I still buy the bad plan, bad risk analysis, and understaffed/retention/misallocation of resources. The question is was it just incompetence/neglience or did SS Leadership purposefully roll out a detail that was too spread thin for that site.

Mojo posted a lot of reasonable arguments why buying the DJT puts is nothing more than a coincidence. There’s no conspiracy.

If somebody knew something ahead of time they’re taking a huge risk of going to prison by placing large trades like that if they had some inside info. And getting the info from assassins at that.

The stock has been extremely volatile. Some 50% daily swings IIRC. The pricing of the implied volatility component might have been a bargain on that Friday.

When the news of buying that many puts is out, the trade is somewhat self fulfilling. It creates downward pressure on the underlying shares of stock which increases the value of their long put position.

Here’s where the inside job falls flat for me. If you’re going to do this, you’ve got to make sure it gets done and the guy can’t miss.

So you’re telling me USSS concocts this plan to eliminate a political figure that will send shockwaves throughout the world for decades to come, and they somehow land on this 20 year old dweeb who’s an objectively bad marksman, and perhaps even worse at discretion. I just can’t buy that.

They simply open the door for a crazy. It just so happens the 20 year old dweeb is who walked through. The government has been (provably) using these types for a while now.

Opposite sentiment though. Buying the DJT puts is a bet that underlying DJT shares will drop in price. The Game Stop meme gang discovered that Game Stop had been shorted so heavily that there weren’t enough shares in the open market to cover the short positions. So the meme guys organized a short squeeze by banding together, buying shares, and therefore driving up the stock price which created margin calls on the GME shorters. Brokers stepped in to save those that were shorting by not allowing the small, retail traders to buy shares. The GME meme guys were done wrong. The big guys that shorted GME shouldn’t have been rescued by the brokers.

There were plenty of misses in Dealey Plaza before they finally had to get the emergency kill shot from the front/Grassy Knoll.

Also, this nonsense about him being a poor shot needs to stop.
