I’m confused. Are they saying the level of security the day of the attempt was an increased level (“ramped” is past tense) or are they saying they have recently ramped it up (after the attempt) due to a new possible threat?

I agree and the CIA after all invented the "limited hangout" you give some good info, mix in bad info and then later retort by showing the bad info to be false, side step good info you couldn't deny entirely and thereby nullifying the good info in the minds of the public.......it's a tactic that goes back to JFK assassination. Still just wanted to share as it's interesting and I have seen it pop up (not just this picture) a couple times now.

Doubt it’s true. Don Jr has said he knew all of the members of the detail that were on stage with Trump and all of them would take a bullet for him. That doesn’t sound like a new detail.

Not nearly is much as celebrating the shooting of a political person you don't like. if I am an employer and I have an asshat working for me doing that, I would want to know.
