Trump Assassination Attempt(s)

Its not really that suspicious if you think about it, master sniper skills. He didn't pull out the 150 yard tape measure and run it from the roof to the stage.

He probably bought a tree trimmer at Home Depot and had the SS help cut down a few branches.

If I had a moment to discuss this with contrarian Huff, like at a waterfront property on the Tennesse River, I would tell him it isn't ONLY about the politician. It is about the office they hold (or seek to hold) and the representation of America we connect with them. An attempt on their life is an assault on the office. It makes americans feel vulnerable and uncertain. The higher the office, the deeper those emotions.

I agree there is that element, but even when politicians die of old age, you can't make a joke without people getting super pissed. Imagine the jokes that will be made about Steve Bartman when he dies of old age...you couldn't make those same jokes about Harry Reid without people thinking you are trash.

#1 rule of imorov = "yes, and..."

#1 rule of show biz = show must go on

Jack Black is just doing his job, behaving out of trained habit.

I've been in many moments where my reaction didn't match how I truly felt once I had time to think about it, and that was without the pressure of performing on stage. This is a normal part of life. It's some overly judgmental ******** to act like JB's reaction means he can't actually have a problem with what KG said. (Not talking about you)
Didn't he come out and make disparaging remarks about Trump prior to this happening..like a week or so ago...so when you add in that, his support of Biden and then laughing off a comment like that..he only backtracking because it hurt his pocketbook

You’re the freak supporting this ridiculous 💩.
I bet you’ve gone so far as attending story hours featuring Tasha Salad, Nova China and Malestia Child. ….weirdo

Dude makes LG seem like a rational, truthful poster in comparison. So much as mention the words "drag queen" or "trans" and he is guaranteed to refute whatever is said within 30 seconds of posting. As you know from the "trans ideology" thread, he is a super expert on all things "gay" or "trans" and will argue with a dozen posters that are actually sane at the same time ...but no, he isn't gay. Just happens to know literally everything about gay and trans folks and post 75 links to worthless liberal rags to "back up" his ridiculous opinions. This from the guy that thinks there is nothing wrong with gay HS boys in drag competing against girls...and also thinks theres nothing wrong with drag queens reading stories to elementary school kids. A complete degenerate that just cannot fathom why parents dont want their 6 year olds hanging out with drag queens and trannys. A real rocket surgeon.

In this age of social media, I really don't understand why people post inflammatory content with their full name for all to see.
Because they have been conditioned that there isn't consequences to their options because they communicate mostly in the Internet..they think freedom of speech means freedom on consequences.

I can say I'm running for president but the usss doesn't care until a threshold is reached.
Having the last name "Kennedy" should have reached that minimum threshold.

It's not optional, it's measured for an agency already stretched thin
Interesting... so you think they are understaffed? All the more reason why I would wonder why an understaffed SS would automatically be able to call the shots over a private security service.

I'm not trying to argue, I'm just wondering why they are allowed to pick and choose who and when they want to act like protectors of certain candidates and not others.

I'm sure she posted about turning down the rheotic..like Hamas after taking hostages calling forna cease fire cuz they are losing.
Lydia reminding us about 40k Palestinians while 5 american hostages are held against their will.

This looks like a leaned up 10' Werner or Louisville brand A frame/step ladder to me (count the rungs). It's narrow at the top and widens out at the bottom. The orange ones are rated for 300 lbs, kind of heavy, and would have been noticeable being carried around.

The 5' foldable, extension ladders are the same width on the top as the bottom (when they're set up like an extension ladder). The one I've got in my work van is a Little Giant. I also own a Werner foldable ladder. Both are aluminum, have a 22' reach, and are heavy. The Little Giant has wheels on it but they're kind of worthless on grass.View attachment 659544

*If the shooter climbed the ladder in the top picture, then he used a fiberglass ladder. There is no way he got that in a Hyundai Sonata.
Agreed that too one wouldn’t fit but Little Giant is exactly what I was talking about. Those fit in a Sonata for sure.

Stupid, incompetent. Take your pick.

If that's the best this country can offer, the POTUS ought to be very, very afraid.
The service needs a complete overhaul, to account for conventional and newer more exotic threats. The current leadership isn't capable, obviously.

Again, the noodle armed kid may not had to carry that ladder. It may have nothing to do with his access to the deadly, man-killing sloped roof.
Noodle arrmed kid was from the area I think so he may have grown up using the site for recreation, exploring and seeing what he could and couldn't access. He might have been on that roof a few times before.

I disagree. I make jokes about Kennedy, Reagan, and some others. The further we get from the shock of the event, the more I cope with humor.

Heck, even 9-11 gets joked about.
