The SS failure to secure rooftop was likely due to delegating to locals because of limited resources. They arent punting the most vulnerable location to small town cops if they had the people.

To be fair, the FLOTUS had another event, POTUS was away, the SS has had retention issues, and the preparations for RNC that was to start in 48 hours spread them thin....

Also, they said he had a van and it had and IED found in it. Now they say it was a Kia. This story is getting more wacky by the minute.

Also also, the gunshots sounded like 2-3 different shooters. The timing of the first 3 shots sounded different than the next 5-6. The 2nd volley was much quicker. Then there was a single shot about 10 seconds later.

3 shots at Trump could account for the casualties of the spectators and the miss on Trump's ear. It seems like 9 shots at Trump and into the crowd would've hit more people. The single shot could be the friendly that eliminated the sniper.

Either way, something is very fishy.

Yes. But he is avoiding the elephant in the room. They knew he was there, had concerns, didn't do anything but roll Orange on stage.

Looks to me there was possible second shooter in the water tower, if not mistaken for SS/LEO.

Not sure of the significance of 50 rounds either but I do know you can’t just buy 5-10 rounds. Maybe 20 but that’s the lowest

The cops seem dumb. The truck rams the fence gate instead of the fence itself. The fencing isn't reinforced, the slender poles would give way like match sticks. The fence looks more like chicken wire than chain link to boot. Video doesn't smell right. If cops can drive across a field to run over a fleeing suspect, they can drive over a grassy piece of land to knock down a flimsy fence.

The SS and DHS have flatly, unequivocally denied it. Don't you think that if the Trump campaign had asked for additional SS resources, and were actually denied as reported by the right wing blog conspiracy promoters, that the campaign would be raising holy heck about it?

Come on. Its a ridiculous claim. And by the way, when that series of claims was denied and not supported by the Trump campaign, did you notice the pivot? It went from "Trump asked for more SS and was denied," to "they sent all the agents to a Jill Biden event."

Typical right wing echo chamber reaching and repeating each other's crap, to get clicks and make money off the rubes.

Here is a counterpoint. Why is the Trump campaign asking for additional resources? What was wrong with the original risk assessment to make it feel like the Trump campaign to request more resources? Why is the SS not being proactive in giving more resources and waiting for the Trump team to ask for more....
