Although I agree with people that when we saw "registered Republican," the most likely scenario is he was a lib voting in R primaries, the thing that doesn't make sense is he has no military background, and he's supposed to be this liberal poon but he also knows guns enough to play sniper assassin on the biggest stage? It's likely he grew up around guns, and that makes it likely he grew up with right-wing ideals (whether or not he ended up rejecting them). What if he's alt-right and wants revolution and thought this would cause it? Maybe a conspiracy's afoot. Maybe he is an unhinged lib acting alone. Everything is on the table.

It's likely an insane person, and what party he is affiliated with shouldn't matter so much, but it does to people trying to play the blame game.

It's really interesting the divisive psychology going on here. Liberals want to say it was some crazed conservative. Conservatives want to say it was some crazed liberal. All to feel better about "their side" of the aisle.

The fact is that both sides have contributed to raising the temperature in the country to an unacceptable level.

I have to agree, she shouldn't resign. It's just Trumper ultra anger about their substitute Jesus being nearly bullet crucified, and yelling loud that feeds the resign thing. Security forked up Trump's security, royally forked up. But when you have someone determined to do evil, sooner or later, they figure out a way to do it. Even ultra paranoid, security minded Putin has had incidents, one or two IIRC, that were too close for comfort. The Ruskies are just better at keeping their mouths shut about security breaches.

Firstly, I have no idea why you're dragging sex into our exchanges. Probably the DIVERT part of the MAGA tactics. Funny thing is, the positions you outline, ALL OF THEM, I'm 100% in agreement with you. Except one thing. nobody cares what hat you wear and keep politics from being discussed in their church’s . That's the church you claim to attend. Bless you. Again, not all churches are the same. Some are so lax, I've had a preacher very unhappily tell me of how disgusted he is. Problem? Young people showing up for morning services with sodas, and snacks, eating during services. Being glued to their phones during sermons. I've visited churches, where early attendants are a gaggle of noisy barnyard animals. BUT, the moment the pastor or his staff come on stage to so much as check their seats or microphone wiring or whatever, they're dead silent. Sit attentively during services etc. I've been in churches where early attendants spend pre-service reading their bibles, praying, or in some cases, quietly advising (I assume) youths. In some churches, sermons are about faith, hope, and charity, prayers for ailing, trouble members etc. And some shouting hell, damnation, and hell fire week after week. And some, that I freely admit, in my personal visits, a FEW taunting the need to support the Chosen One. That’s Trump, in case you don't know. But my personal experience doesn't echo the number of churches that are Trumpanized. They shouldn't mix politics with Jesus, the two are polar opposites. So enjoy your church if it fits your liking, but don't assume your church represents all church, because it DEFINITELY does not.

Do you guys remember The Summer of Love 2020? If you look back you will probably find many of the same posters rationalizing the destruction of property, larceny, intimidation, violence, illegal occupation, and many other crimes because it was led and promoted by the democrat party.

That summer and covid has led to more harm to this country in recent memory that still exists today. We can't rid this country of the moral contagion that was rationalized between 2020 - 2021.
