IMO a cheap 10x40 scope from Walmart would be enough to see clearly what the the guy was carrying, and that he wasnt LEO from 150 yards. I am not an expert, nor an avid hunter as some here surely are...but scopes are powerful. Let's say you had a shooter nearly assassinate Biden that was a registered Democrat but donated to conservative causes and shouted conservative ideas. People would be finger pointing. People today are hard-pressed to admit they are wrong. Clay Travis just did a podcast about that and the media.

In a lot of ways, it would be better if we let people say the unhinged, radical comments and then tried to back them away from those comments rather than keeping things bottled up inside them until it explodes.
