Nobody can secure it absent permission (assuming it was private). The SS and police would at that point secure it the best they can which is from a distance.
I agree with many of your posts, and also the above sentiment. And no doubt... quite a few on the left have made some extremely embarrassing and perhaps job-costing comments. The "hanging" phrase just hit me as a bit much.Fauci needs to be tried for crimes against humanity. Mayorkis needs to be tried for treason by allowing our borders to be overrun. I have been consistent on my feelings towards both of these gentlemen. The difference is that they should be allowed all due legal process, whereas the leftist filth are exoressing dismay that the shooter missed Mr Trump.
But there were buildings further away. Did they have enough to cover that many buildings? I'm no expert so I could be off base.

#BREAKING: The Secret Service are blaming the local Law enforcement and says it was tasked with securing properties surrounding Trump’s rally
#Butler | #Pennsylvania
The Secret Service has blamed local law enforcement for failing to secure the rooftop from which gunman Thomas Matthew Crooks attempted to assassinate former President Donald Trump. They insisted that the rooftop was outside the perimeter the federal agency was responsible for protecting. Securing and patrolling the factory grounds of AGR International Inc located about 130 yards from the stage where Trump was speaking on Saturday, was the responsibility of local Pennsylvania police, according to Secret Service representative Anthony Guglielmi, as reported by the New York Times. The Secret Service was tasked only with covering the grounds where Trump’s rally took place, while local police were recruited to assist with those efforts and secure the area outside the rally.
Someone must have trained this guy on handling guns and practiced marksmanship with him.

NEW: Thomas Matthew Crooks was reportedly rejected from his school's rifle team because of his bad shot and his "off-color" jokes according to the New York Post.
A former classmates claim he tried out for the rifle team at Bethel Park High School.
The school's range was 50 feet long and 21 feet wide.
The Post says he once shot from the seventh lane which was closest to the right wall and missed so bad he hit the left wall.
"He tried out… and was such a comically bad shot he was unable to make the team and left after the first day," a classmate said.
Yea I saw that. Why would they need permission? If I pull a handgun out on a POTUS in close proximity do they need permission? I assume no
100% that's the bare minimumDepends. I mean, what is their protocol?
Technically, he could have a gun up there.... meaning legally. Now, if he starts pointing it.... than they would technically have reasonable belief he was going to shoot someone or the President.
I don't know what they were doing.... seems like they needed to get Trump off stage. Even if you don't fire, you get the Orange off the stage.
Yup, even if they had done that.... good chance nobody dies or gets hurt other than the shooter.100% that's the bare minimum
They are facing Biden.View attachment 658980
Then why are they facing the camera instead of towards each other?
It's clearly a photo-op.
