Is it more likely for a missed layup by Michael Jordan to be intentional or accidental? Spontaneous incompetence by extremely competent people should not necessarily be the default assumption.

CNN first reported that Trump fell and SS swarmed the stage. It took them over an hour to admit what really happened. You fall for fake news so there you have it. Are you a flatearther? Just asking.

There have been comments and posts that one of the counter snipers had the guy in his sights for 3 minutes and called for permission to engage as he reported he clearly had a gun. He never received permission and returned fire on his own initiative after the first shot. He says he was fired for taking initiative. If that report is true and that just seems so surreal, then yeah a bunch of people need to be fired and that guy needs his job back and a service commendation in his file.

It was Newsmax, a right wing cable news network who I have posted links to (several times now) regarding what police sources are saying.

I don't really care about this at all .... but it is kinda fun to see how much it upsets the echo chamber on here. You guys are really unnerved.

The sad thing is that there will be no meaningful change to political discourse in this country as a result of what happened. You'll see people from both sides denounce the shooting and call for national unity, but they'll just turn right around and continue to foment strife and division to get elected.

Politicians get elected off of strife and division, so they continue to foment strife and division. The media gets clicks and makes money off of strife and division. Therefore, nothing will change. Things will only get worse.

I spoke to a family friend who is a former special forces operator who contracts now. Basically said the same thing. Said this security detail, specifically the snipers and spotters are incompetent. No way a sniper team could/should miss a shooter in an open, elevated position that close, and let them get a shot off. He's not sure what to make of it.

Key being "if that report is true". Gonna chalk that up as something we'll never know with any certainty. Reminds me of all the rumors and conspiracies that surround JFK's assassination. That stuff gets hidden away from the public.

There actually video of him on the roof and people yelling he's there with a gun..and it's a few minutes long...I'll try to find it..TMZ has it in believe. And Ben Shapiro just showed a short piece of it....they knew he was there

Just giving an example of other rhetoric that didn't need context. I actually agree that Bidens words were twisted. Emotionally fragile is funny though from the party of safe spaces.
