In moments like that you tend to see the natural response. I’ll be the first to admit I expected him to try to make himself as small as possible and cower. To be so defiant, the fist pump, “fight, fight, fight”. It was frankly inspirational. It was even presidential. I’m still not voting for him, at least today with what we know now I’ll have to admit I have admiration on how he immediately dealt with what had occurred.

You should know that just because the FBI and SS are denying his team made the request doesn’t mean they didn’t.

Before everyone jumps me, yes, I question everything, on both sides.
And I don’t rule out anything nor do I allow myself to be surprised by any outcome.
