Like I said, I understand and agree with your system but that is where I have received backlash from others. There are a lot of people who still support the Federal Government due to the 1860s and 1960s. That is a REAL problem.

If you want to win, you need to know where your problems are and have answers around it. You have seen me post about how school boards and local government should man things. I am a HUGE fan of local government and I take those elections more seriously than Presidential elections sometimes.

This guy would have been about 11 or 12 when Trump began first running for the Republican nomination. For almost half of his life there has been a nonstop flow of Trump is evil, Hitler, deplorable, a racist, a misogynist, anti-Semite, xenophobic, homophobic, transphobic, a threat to democracy and "must be stopped" (Pelosi quote from less than 2 weeks ago) and on and on and on. That likely had a huge effect on him and others. It was moral imperative to stop him using any means required.

This is the fruit of the left's demonetization of anyone not aligned with their beliefs.

I won't keep harping on this but what is odd about the left attempting to label people as Hitler or a threat to democracy, is that during 1930's Germany it was the media who helped to demonize the Jews and label them leading to dehumanizing them.

Not sure if this would 100% fix things, but having a complete reset of leadership (new politicians, new actors/producers in Hollywood, new media, new academic heads at our Universities) would probably help our society. Our leadership, across the board, is failing us.

I agree with this, but the problem is everyone treating these “leaders” as god-like figures that should be worshipped and can do no wrong. We need a stop to the celebrity worship in this country - from Taylor Swift to our politicians.

I completely agree. My son is 17. He’ll miss voting in this election by just a few months. He is MUCH more liberal than either me or my husband or our extended families. I don’t mind at all him having his own opinions and forming his own beliefs- but I do believe a lot/ most of it stems from the vilification of Trump and all things conservative and republican. When you’re that young and you’ve heard this stuff for half of your life it’s hard not to believe it.

It's not like Trump hasn't been vilifying the left for the past 8 years at basically every speech and in every social media post. Sure the left has gone off the deep end too, amping up the same sort of divisive rhetoric

I agree! People need to look at this for what it is, regardless of the target.
I’ll say this, and this is just me throwing out hypotheticals, but when the SS and Supreme Court are compromised, this country is done.

I was talking about the same thing yesterday with a friend. Then we half joked that if we get into a militia early, we might be able to get a cush officer spot. Then we both looked at each other and felt like wrap. Then we started worrying about the idiots in this country.
