Trump Assassination Attempt(s)

Well, let's see...

1/6 Trump gave a fiery speech and defied the election results urging his followers to go to the Capitol, which they immediately did, bringing violence, death, and chaos with them.

VERSUS

You assume at this point, with zero information, that the shooter was motivated by some comment Biden made at some point, in the past.

They simply aren't comparable at this point in time. Not that you care.
I haven't assumed anything, I only asked a question. Not once in here, or anywhere, will you find me assuming anything. I'll gladly apologize if you can post where i claimed anything about any conspiracy. The leaders if your party are on tv, countless times, encouraging people to harass and attack Trump supporters, yet you think it's farfetched that they'd inspire someone to try to kill Trump? Okay 😅

Obviously he couldn't for official acts...no GOP member has said different...but acts as VP are not covered for prosecution...they could get him there is a money trail..but its not worth the time..odds are Joe will pass before anything significant happens..and once Joe goes..Hunter will matter even less.
Huh?

Rep. Mike Collins just said different.

Considering the video where he stated “hate Republicans, I hate Trump…”, it would be pretty logical to conclude he registered as a Republican to vote in their primaries believing he could affect the outcome. Or, maybe he was initially, the propaganda got to him and he switched his allegiance and never changed affiliation wrt registration. I don’t always vote R, yet I’m registered as such, so who knows.
I think most have missed that..wonder if it is still up.

Hell, if they had just walked over there they could’ve seen the ladder he used. Great police work. I’m glad they’re out there writing tickets for busted tail lights and 7 mph over speed limits though, followed by the obligatory “have you been drinking, mind if I search your car?”

Could the SS or Police not get a judge to provide them temporary access during the event? Private property rights don’t seem so cut and dry to me in this instance, but I’m no lawyer and didn’t sleep at a holiday inn last night.

Are you really suggesting presidential security trumps private property rights? GTFOH with that, NO law enforcement or protective detail should be able to enter private property without permission from the owner.

Young people are more likely to fall into radicalism, especially due to uncertainty they deal with at that age regarding career and dating/marriage. Perhaps we should be focusing alot on helping the younger generations. To me, there needs to be stronger apprenticeship/intern opportunities in our system.
Yeah I just don't understand how weird your thought process is to actually try to carry this out when you are 20. I mean you have to really be a nut job.

He didn't say the prosecute Biden for officials acts
He said that Biden should be prosecuted for "inciting an assassination." Of course, that is dumb .... but if he is talking about Biden's handling of the Department of Homeland Security and in turn, the Secret Service? Those are covered as "official acts." If he was talking about Biden's campaign rhetoric? Such rhetoric is also covered - according to Trump's attorneys.

Just my .02 but it’s more of an indictment of where we are with mental health. Unfortunately it’s not hard to weaponize those who struggle mentally. Wish we had more resources devoted to it.

We were set up as a republic for this very reason- to naturally limit the damage of division. The issue is the left wants everything democratized, which is just going to bring mob rule and chaos.

Issue is Republics can still be just as divisive, look at the Roman Republic or Athenian Republic for example.

I think 20 year olds are way more into politics then we ever were when I was 20. I blame social media for constantly blasting stuff. When I was 20 it was parties and football. No one ever talked about politics this much. And that was during the Bush Gore election debate

Yes, I’m suggesting exactly that if it is properly reviewed and approved by a judge. I may be completely wrong, but it seems reasonable to me. And to be clear I wasn’t suggesting they enter the buildings, only that they were able to secure the roof top from someone with a weapon. JMO, TIFWIW

Agreed. I also tend to think social media has contributed to the mental health issue.

Ah interesting..so in your mind...the POTUS is on record using the phrase put Trump in the bullseye..and then an assassination attempt on Trump happened...that could be viewed as incitement...is that an official act??? If so the Trump J6 speech was official and there was no insurrection...or does incitement not fall under official acts..courts will decide that if charged..
