My wife's nephew pretty much did the same thing after HS, even though he was going to have a spot on the JSU team..he told the family that he was done, he loved baseball but he knew it wasn't going to be a career, and he wanted to experience other things in life, and follow his ambition to be a physical therapist.

All the kid did for years was play baseball and he just got burned out.

I always told him since he was in middle school that he should really go into golf...the kid is a natural. I bought him his first set of clubs when he was 12. He is really really good for someone who has never had any lessons and has not devoted serious practice time to it.

I really believe that if he had gotten into golf at an early age instead of baseball I believe he could have been a pro.
I did the same. Multiple college wrestlers in my family. 2 with names enshrined in the HOF in Stillwater, OK for coaching. I had offers from multiple small schools and an ACC offer. I was burnt out and my body was pretty broken down (still have shoulder and knee issues - getting my nose fixed a few months ago was brutal).

I wanted to go to UT and I wanted to experience life as just a student for once and have more time for the outdoors, dating, church, etc. Don't regret it.

Will definitely be in prayer for your girls. My wife and I tried for 7 years with multiple procedures with no luck. We were told flat out by at least 5-6 doctors that we needed to accept that we would never have children on our own and should consider adopting. God had the final say. My oldest daughter is 40 and has given us 3 grandchildren. She was born when my wife was 30. My son is 32 and just got married. Our baby girl is 28. I pray your girls can someday give their own testimony to God’s love and faithfulness. Hang in there.
there it is!

I think there is a good chance both teams return to their mean for the CWS final.

8-5 Vols. That lines up pretty close with the current spread too.

If you do the math on both runs UT has allowed and runs A&M has scored in the CWS, prior to our series, the numbers are identical. 4.67.

Our first game was very similar to our game against FSU except the bats were cold. A&M has better pitching. I also think FSU had better hitting, but A&M has been more clutch. Our last matchup with FSU was 7-2. Again I like the predictions. We have to execute though.
