My father was foreman for a large residential development company. Practically built eastern Davidson county. He taught hundreds of young men how to use circular saws safely. Ran over his fingers with one in his 60s. It happens.

Remember to always grip your tool firmly. Allow your fingers to envelop it fully without forcing an overly-hard grip. Move your tool gently, but decisively, and efficiently through the material you are penetrating. Clean your tool immediately after use.

gonna have to wait a bit to get that dried blood off this time 😂

While putting all the stuff away I found a blood spatter four feet away on the garage door frame. Patio is covered with big blood drops. 😳 Freaked me the hell out with it all happening in real time not knowing the extent of the damage yet

My FIL routed the tip right off of the left index finger. Very similar. On the X ray you can see the profile of the router bit perfectly cut across the bone. He was routing the edge of a cabinet door. There was nothing for them to reattach so his finger just ends right above where your fingernail is supposed to start.

Yeah I know what you mean on seeing the blade pattern. Happy Father’s Day Marcus!

You got a professional opinion on never use gloves with a power tool? Because while I generally agree I’ll never touch this weapon of death again without a LH steel mesh glove. Already got them coming from Amazon.

A sorta related issue. After fixing a couple of thing at the other house and finding the sump pump won't turn, I told my wife that in my opinion there is one thing worse than owning two houses ... that would be having two wives. That's maybe one good example of fools falling in love.

Youre gonna need those pain pills for a couple days at least IMO....as SOON as you can possibly get by on just rotating Tylenol and Ibuprofen every 4 hours get rid of those pain pills. Lock em up somewhere or put em down the drain. They can and will destroy your life given the opportunity. Ask the 110,000 Americans that die every year now. Opiate overdose has replaced car accidents as THE no1 cause of death for Americans aged 16-45 years old. That alone is insane, and indicative of the destructive power pain pills hold. 90-95% of junkies started out on prescribed pain pills due to injury.

Adrenaline and endorphins are amazing compounds. Lol

I'm pretty good in the emergency. Once everyone is stable, that's when I cry or throw up.
