Not sure what him winning cy young awards has to do with this conversation. Try again next time
Excuse me for thinking you were bright enough to figure out the meaning of my post. Were you or were you not knocking Maddux because he was only throwing 88-89 mph? Velocity wasn't what made Maddux the first 4-time Cy Young Award winner in history. Has the pitcher to whom you were referencing throwing 94-95 mph done that?

I have never known anyone that quit their day job and only gambled long term. I have heard of people making supplemental income. I have also heard of people losing their supplemental income or worse.

I have seen a lot of gamblers try to make money telling other gamblers what to do. Which begs the question why if it is already so lucrative for you?

Gambling advice, drop shipping on Amazon, and the average person making < $400 on OF for the price of their dignity must be why the American economy is so amazing. 😆 🤣
Yup. It's funny really.

The drop shipping crap is notorious. There are soo many these days on SM and so many thirsty gullibles. The "let me teach you how to daytrade in 5 hours" and Forex crap is absolutely awful and everywhere. And now it's "let me teach you how to make $5mm a year starting your own clothing brand with nothing" or "start your own car detailing business and make $500k your first year like me!" And of course something about social media marketing...they always act like they're just helping and then EVERY TIME have a Linktree where they sell their course, a "consultation call", or the notorious...roadmap 😆😂

I'm like you...if you're making such good money...why aren't you focused on that rather than selling your golden secrets to the world all for $99.99 🤣🤣🤣

The folks that REALLY know what they're doing in sports gambling have invested years in software, analytics, and back testing their strats. They tend to work with syndicates for the capital, while taking a nice cut. They aren't selling $25 picks on Geocities. (Not to say someone couldn't get lucky hitting on a lucky...even decent gambler...but 90-95% are longterm losers and the .1% that make legit annual winnings, not just run-good, already have most of their time locked up and do NOT want to give away their edge to the masses).

That said, a popular enough gambler personality could probably sell "picks" that move the market...only to use it to their advantage and undercut the movement 🤔

Being 100% transparent. I could see us losing this opener and winning the tourney. The FSU pitcher for Friday is a legit ace and our Friday rotation has been as steady as the thoughts coming from the LV forum.

That will be a tough thing to do if we lose the opener tomorrow night. I would bet the percentage chances of winning it all after losing the first game is probably less than 10%.

Well that is partly why if I was a gambler I'd be hard pressed to lock in the Vols. I would not bet against this team though. I truly like that we got beat by Evansville to get our fight or flight levels to 100.
