The trio of vitello and supporting frank and elander no doubt is making us the force we are. It will be very difficult to replace elander when he eventually takes an upward position elsewhere, as well as frank when he retires. Hopefully the investments being made in the program allow us to pay all of them enough to keep them around as long as possible.

Kirby will be Frank's replacement eventually.

I’m not so sure of that. But I’d love to have Kirby on staff and see if he can grow into such a role.

I’m sure Elander could’ve left by now. But he’s sitting in a position where he can wait on a really good opportunity which is why I would be worried if USCe went the assistant route. His stock is through the roof and rising.

Had to plug him in at LT for some games and he played at an All-Pro level…at 6’3! Right up there with Bruce Matthews in versatile greatness imo.
