You said based on luck a lot of times and I agreed with you about WHIP. ERA is a great stat.

There are more variables that come into play with ERA…. Gibson is obviously a great pitcher by any metric…. Elder is a very marginal pitcher who had a great era for most of the season last year. I didn’t say that ERA was useless… just that I feel that there are better metrics.

Smh.. I ain't arguing thus stupid crap...our team ERA shows that we are a better staff..so far this year in the ganes we have played...than all but 3 teams that are barely better....PERIOD.

You are being an idiot…. Did I say anything negative about our staff… I even stated that I felt our pitching staff has been good…. I was only discussing whether ERA is the best metric which I don’t feel that it is.

That’s a round too early. UK plays the Oregon St. Regional. UK wouldn’t face UGA until the 1st Rd of the CWS.

Of the SEC teams remaining…

UK/UGA/UF/TA&M are on one side of the CWS bracket.

LSU (if they were to get there) would be the only one on our side. Alabama, Arkansas and Miss St. would have been on our side but their butts are at home.
