Plus being undefeated in the winners bracket in your home field regional. That's pretty dumb, especially multiple games.

Agreed. What is the rule? I don’t think I’ve understood any of the attempts to explain on here so far.

I believe if one team has been a visitor more than they will be the home team. USM was visitor in the second and third game. If it’s even, the higher seed is home. But if the 1 and 3 seeds win their first games, then the 3 will always be home, which is just odd when you play the regular season to host a regional.
